This Level 7 Supply Chain Academy is delivered by the Institute of Supply Chain Management and is dedicated to helping those within the supply chain industry who are in a senior management role with this course allowing you to study a flexible range of units and develop skills in supply chain areas.

You will gain skills in specific areas of the supply chain depending on the units you choose to study.

The flexibility of the unit selection means you can customise your qualification so it is entirely tailored to you. Choose units that will benefit your current role or those that will give you the skills required to take your career to the next level.

The qualifications are available in three different sizes, depending on how many units you choose and therefore, how long you will spend studying.

Certificate: Complete all one core unit and two additional units (either core or optional), support 18 months
Diploma: More in-depth and comprehensive, you’ll study all one core unit and three additional units (either core or optional), support 24 months.
Extended Diploma: To gain the extended diploma you must complete all one core unit and five additional units (either core or optional), support 36 months.

Assessments

Assignments are completed and submitted via the IoSCM Learning Platform. Assessments are based around the assessment criteria and learning objectives. Word counts will vary through levels of study.

The following provides examples and explanations of the most common forms of assessment methods:

– Expert witness/witness testimony

– Product evidence

– Professional discussion

– Recognition of prior learning

Entry Requirements

We would recommend minimum 5+ years of experience at a Strategic Management level within the industry, or fewer years’ experience with recent degree/master’s degree in a closely related field.


This course is designed for anyone looking to further develop existing strategic management skills. Gaining further understanding of the impact on a wider business/industry of your strategic decisions.
