This project will provide a Level 2 Certificate in Barbering for 20 people aged 16+ who are furthest removed from education and employment. The course will give them a tangible skill and route into employment or self-employment. Over 90% of students pass their qualifications and 70% go on to further training, employment or self-employment. This is an exceptional outcome given the complex challenges faced by our learners.

This online course builds their self-confidence and develops their creative problem-solving abilities, along with other employment-related skills, through 8 interactive workshops, plus mentoring.

Remade will provide volunteering opportunities, training and support to people who are unemployed and recovering from addiction, mental health issues and homelessness.
