Why did you choose to come to Petroc?
The course provided me with the opportunity to stay within the area, allowing a greater level of sustainability within my current life due to being a more mature student. With the course being work friendly, it allowed me to work alongside..
What made you pick this particular course?
Business in general is a fascinating subject due to the scope of the topics covered, providing constant educational stimulation within research and assignment writing – the degree is ultimately very employable.
What have been the highlights?
One of the main highlights was being able to use the college’s VR headsets, providing a new and enjoyable experience – this provided exposure to the potential nature of the future of business practices and meetings, potentially providing a vital resource for future employment progression.
What do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
All the lecturers have been very welcoming, providing a more informal environment that allowed a more constructive and engaging learning environment.
This has allowed us to fully push our potential and achieve a greater sense of pride within the work we completed.
What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I still plan to transition from the foundation degree course to the BA within Petroc. But past this I plan to gain vital experience, helping to expand my knowledge within local businesses.
What’s the long-term plan?
Once I complete my BA and work within local businesses, I plan on potentially owning my own business, hopefully surrounding food but the overall idea is not yet finalised.
As I have a great passion for business and food it seems like a logical venture to explore – I am a firm believer in doing what makes you happy.
Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
The assignments creep up on you and before you know it, you’ve got a vast amount due in. So I would suggest making sure that you are fully prepared as this prevents a lot of headaches and stress.
