Cotie Business Innovation Hub Celebrates Resounding Success of Outreach Programme

Over 300 people engaged, 34 events delivered, and KPIs exceeded as project concludes

The Cotie Business Innovation Hub has wrapped up its outreach programme with resounding success, far surpassing expectations and demonstrating strong impact across the regional business community.

Initially set against modest targets, the programme outperformed in nearly every key area. A total of 34 events were delivered , a staggering increase from the original target of just 6, drawing in over 200 attendees, compared to the projected 120. Additionally, more than 130 enterprises received non-financial support, significantly exceeding the goal of 100.

Overall, over 300 individuals engaged with the programme, more than double the initial target of 150. Of the 16 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set at the outset, 10 were exceeded, with another 2 falling within an acceptable tolerance range.

While some targets related to job creation and safeguarding fell short, this trend was consistent with other initiatives under the same funding stream and was largely attributed to the ongoing challenging economic climate. Funders had been made aware of these anticipated shortfalls early in the process and expressed understanding of the underlying factors.

Importantly, the programme has forged new links with employers while strengthening existing partnerships, establishing a solid foundation for future collaboration and growth.

In addition to programme delivery, all allocated funding was fully utilised, and the capital build works have now been completed, marking the full delivery of the project.
