The Taw Restaurant in Barnstaple is a unique dining experience boasting fine views of the Taw Estuary.
All of our menu items are, where possible, locally sourced and made from fresh ingredients; from Artisan bread to homemade ice cream. To complement our dining menus The Taw Restaurant has a fully licensed bar, a full wine list and a range of barista drinks. Our trainee chefs and front of house team are supervised by a passionate brigade of highly trained catering professionals. The Taw can also host private functions or corporate events with additional meeting facilities available.
Why not treat yourself or a group of friends to an afternoon of pampering? The Taw is situated within the Lifestyle Centre which boasts hair, beauty and nail studios so you can combine a lovely lunch or evening meal with a pamper package!

We are open for lunch from 12.00 on Thursdays and Fridays, and for dinner from 18.30 on Thursday evenings.
Please note we will be closed from 10Â March until 15 May to allow for student assessments and collage holidays.

All bookings for lunch and evening meals for 6 people and over need to pay a £5 deposit per person for the booking to be made.
All bookings for Christmas need to pay the full amount per person before the booking can be made.
