Petroc Principal Appointed to Ofqual Board

Petroc College is proud to announce that Kurt Hintz, Interim Principal and CEO, has been appointed to the Board of Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation.
Ofqual is the independent regulator of qualifications, exams and assessments in England. Reporting directly to Parliament, it ensures that qualifications are trusted, fair, and robust – playing a vital role in education, training, and workforce development across the country.
Kurt’s appointment brings a wealth of leadership and further education sector expertise to Ofqual’s governing board. His career spans nearly three decades in further education, with a strong focus on innovation, curriculum development, and widening participation.
