Collaboration in Action: Petroc College Leads AI Technology Reference Group to Support Local Schools

Petroc’s Interim Principal and CEO, Kurt Hintz, has spearheaded an innovative AI Technology Reference Group, working closely with headteachers across North Devon to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance education. The initiative, launched in response to local schools’ growing interest in AI, marks an exciting step in collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and digital transformation across the region.
The first AI Technology Reference Group meetingย brought together educators, AI specialists, and school leadersย to discuss the integration of AI into teaching and learning. Guest speaker Richard Foster-Fletcher, an AI thought leader from MKAI (Morality and Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence), shared insights on how AI can be embedded into education, ensuring schools remain at the forefront of technological advancements.

- Supporting SEND Students: Exploring AIโs role in adapting learning materials for students with additional needs.
