The Taw Restaurant in Barnstaple is a student-led teaching restaurant offering a unique high-quality dining experience with views across the Taw Estuary.
Our menus are freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, including artisan bread and homemade desserts. To complement the food, the restaurant offers a fully licensed bar, a curated wine list, and a range of barista-made drinks.
All services are delivered by trainee chefs and front-of-house students, supervised at all times by passionate and experienced brigade of industry-trained hospitality professionals.
The Taw Restaurant operates during college term time only as part of our hospitality and catering provision. Availability is therefore limited and aligned to the academic calendar.
Advance booking is strongly recommended due to restricted service days and capacity.
