The Taw Restaurant in Barnstaple is a unique dining experience boasting fine views of the Taw Estuary.
All of our menu items are, where possible, locally sourced and made from fresh ingredients; from Artisan bread to homemade ice cream. To complement our dining menus The Taw Restaurant has a fully licensed bar, a full wine list and a range of barista drinks. Our trainee chefs and front of house team are supervised by a passionate brigade of highly trained catering professionals. The Taw can also host private functions or corporate events with additional meeting facilities available.

We are open for lunch from 12.00pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and for dinner from 6.30pm on Thursday evenings.
Please note that we will be closed from 11 March until 6 May to allow for student assessments and College holidays.
