Rising Stars Shine in Powerful Performance of Life Raft

First-year Performing Arts students delivered a moving and impactful performance of Life Raft by Fin Kennedy, showcasing both their developing talent and emotional depth.

Staged as part of their coursework, the production brought powerful storytelling to life, with students demonstrating impressive commitment to character, ensemble work, and the play’s challenging themes. Life Raft, known for its intensity and contemporary relevance, provided an excellent platform for the group to explore complex emotions and real-world issues – something they rose to with confidence and maturity.

From poignant moments of reflection to scenes of heightened drama, the performance was an engaging and thought-provoking experience. The production marks an important milestone in their first year, highlighting both individual progress and the strength of the cohort as a whole.

Jasmin Jones, Performing Arts Lecturer said “The students showed incredible commitment throughout this process. Being on stage for the full two-hour performance is a huge challenge and they maintained their focus, energy, and emotional connection from start to finish.”.

Well done to all students involved for bringing such energy and authenticity to the stage.
