Biography
Why did you choose to study at North Devon College?
I mainly chose to study at North Devon College because of the great things I heard about the science and maths lecturers but it was also just very close to me, which was another bonus.
Why did you study?
I studied Biology, Maths and Chemistry, the classic trio for doing medicine.
Who was your favourite lecturer?
I would say my favourite lecturer is Lizzie Grew, the biology lecturer, she really supported me and helped me improve in areas I was struggling with and ultimately that led to a good result in my Biology A Level.
What’s been the best part of your college experience?
I think the best part of my college experience was the A Levels award ceremony and being recognised and appreciated for all the effort I put in felt really gratifying.
What’s your must have food or drink at college?
A must have food at North Devon College would probably be the cheese scones with the vegetable soup from The Liberty Cafe. I like to dip the scones into the soup but the odd hashbrown from the canteen is also good.
What do you study now and where is this going to take you?
I’m studying medicine at Bristol University and I hope this will take me into becoming a doctor and then eventually specialising in something maybe surgery.
