Fantastic Turnout for Sports Academy Trials

North Devon College’s Sports Academy has enjoyed a hugely successful start to the season preparations, with an excellent turnout at this year’s football and netball trials.

The event saw a large number of prospective student-athletes take to the court and pitch, demonstrating impressive skill, determination and teamwork throughout the sessions. Coaches were delighted by both the standard of performance and the enthusiasm shown by everyone involved.

The trials provided an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their abilities while giving coaching staff a chance to identify emerging talent ahead of the new academic year.

Head Coach Neill praised the commitment shown by those who attended, saying: “It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout at the trials. The level of ability on display was excellent, and it was encouraging to see so many students getting involved with such enthusiasm”.

The Sports Academy is now looking ahead to the start of the season, with coaches eager to work with students as they develop their skills and compete across the region.
