Public Services Students Impress in Mock Interviews with Armed Forces and Police

Students from our Public Services course recently had the opportunity to participate in mock interviews with representatives from the armed forces and local police. The event, designed to provide students with a realistic taste of the recruitment process within public service roles, proved to be an inspiring experience for all involved.
Dressed professionally to reflect the formal nature of the occasion, the students showcased their enthusiasm, preparation, and knowledge. The interviewers commended their efforts, noting how well they demonstrated the qualities required for careers in the public services sector.
The session not only highlighted the importance of preparation and presentation but also left the students feeling motivated about their future careers. Many expressed their gratitude for the practical feedback provided by the visiting professionals.
A big thank you to Joe from the British Army (Rifles Regiment), Nick from the Royal Navy (Royal Marines Commando) and Adam and Matt from Devon & Cornwall Police for joining us!
