Petroc unveils free courses and vibrant new home for adult learners

Committed to excellence through learning, Petroc College boasts an extensive range of flexible and affordable courses for adult learners that could make those dreams a reality.
Petroc’s new dedicated Adult Learning Centre can be found in the multimillion-pound Lifestyle Centre.
Jo Byrne, Head of Adult Learning and Assistant Principal, said: “We thought that it was about time our adult learners had a proper home.
“There’s a real cafe feel in the atrium, you’ve got the commercial barbers, the hair, beauty, and nail salons, you’ve got the Taw Restaurant, and the two levels of classrooms, so there’s a bit of a buzz. We’re really building a learning community for adults.”
