Student designs winning Christmas card

As part of our Petroc 70 celebrations, we invited our students to design a special themed Christmas Card! The brief was to create a card that was 50s-themed or showcased ‘Christmas through the ages’. We received lots of fantastic, creative designs which our judging panel (Bridget Scott, Grace Iredale and Kelly Mitchell) really enjoyed looking through. After much deliberation, the judges selected the following designs: In 3rd place was Ruby Constable for her “original and fun interpretation of the brief”. 2nd place went to Daniel Parker who “incorporated a really strong Petroc message in his design”. However, the winning design went to Andrei Bel who is studying on our Transition to T Level in Digital course. His fabulous card was praised by the judges for being “full of 50s references and had great commercial appeal”!

Photographed is Head Judge Bridget Scott and winner Andrei Bell, his design has now been transformed into our 2022 Christmas Card which will be sent to all our stakeholders and partners.
