What made you pick this particular course/Petroc?
I have always wanted to be a hairdresser so this was perfect for me to go straight into the industry, whilst learning the trade at college.

What did/do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I like the practical side of the apprenticeship, as it allows me to build upon my skills.

Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
I am currently doing my apprenticeship at Kudos. I really enjoy working there as everyone is so lovely and friendly. I gain loads of information and pick up on lots of skills whilst watching the other stylists work.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I would like to progress onto Level 3, after completing my level 2 and maybe go on to find a placement in a city, to experience hairdressing in a different environment. I like the idea of London!

Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
Go for it! It builds your confidence in social environments and working with lots of different people, whilst earning a wage!
