What made you pick this particular course?
I picked this course , due to the placement experience which helps to apply what we learn in class to a real setting.

What have been the highlights?
I most enjoy doing lots of projects and being able to use all the resources Petroc offers, to practice real life scenarios which allows us to prepare for placement.

Did you undertake any work experience?
Yes, we worked at North Devon Hospital. I had a really positive experience in meeting loads of people doing the jobs we want to do. It’s helped me decide my next steps by opening my eyes to all the careers available.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I plan to take a gap year, then go to university to study paramedics.

Any advice for someone picking the same course?
Ask lots of questions and try to get involved as much as possible. Revise as you go and reflect a lot.
