Lecturer Dr. Mike Beer Celebrates Dual Publications in 2025

North Devon College Classical Civilisation lecturer Dr. Mike Beer is celebrating an extraordinary achievement, with two pieces of his work set to be published this year.

In February, Dr. Beer will feature in The Periodic Table of Greek Mythology, contributing his expertise on the myth of Actaeon. Notably, this work includes a collaboration with a former North Devon College student who now teaches Classical Civilisation at Exeter College—a testament to the enduring influence of Dr. Beer’s teaching.

Following this, in June, Dr. Beer’s work will also appear in Luxury and the Senses, further highlighting his diverse scholarly contributions and his role as a respected voice in the field of Classical Civilisation.
