Petroc Announces Next Wave Of FREE Adult Courses Starting In January 2026!
Petroc is excited to announce its next wave of FREE adult short courses will be starting in January 2026 — offering fantastic opportunities for adults across North Devon to gain new skills, boost their confidence, and take the next step in their personal or professional development.
Building on the success of previous years, the 2026 programme features a mix of popular returning favourites and brand-new courses designed to meet local demand and reflect emerging opportunities in the region. Many of these courses are fully funded through government initiatives, meaning they’re completely free for eligible adults, whether you’re looking to retrain, return to education, or simply try something new.
We’re thrilled to be offering another exciting line-up of free adult courses in 2026, these opportunities can truly change lives, whether by opening new career paths, building confidence, or connecting people through learning.
Courses will run at Petroc’s campus in Barnstaple and online, making it easier than ever to fit learning around work and family life.
Enrolments will be open very soon, and spaces are expected to fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged!
