Petroc’s 2000 Futures Campaign Hits Closes In On 50% Marker – 860 Employer Pledges So Far!

Petroc has proudly announced a major milestone in its 2000 Futures Campaign: surpassing 25% of its target and nearing the 50% mark, with an incredible 860 employer pledges secured towards creating 2000 work experience encounters by Christmas.

From inspiring industry talks and workplace tours to hands-on placements, hundreds of local employers are stepping up to open their doors and give North Devon students a vital taste of the world of work.

A Campaign for North Devon’s Future

The 2000 Futures Campaign is about much more than numbers, it’s about ensuring young people across North Devon gain the insight, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in the local and global workplace. By linking students with employers, Petroc is building stronger connections between education and industry, preparing the next generation while also strengthening the region’s future workforce.

Employers across diverse industries, from healthcare and education to engineering, animal care, digital, and the creative arts, have pledged their support. Many are offering site visits, guest lectures, and hands-on experiences that show students the breadth of opportunity available right here in North Devon.
