Petroc’s Free Adult Short Courses Return This Term with Exciting New Additions

Petroc is once again opening its doors to adult learners this term with the return of our popular free short courses, offering opportunities for people 18+ to gain new skills, explore interests, and boost their employability.
This terms programme features a wide range of courses, from practical training to academic tasters, designed to help learners grow in confidence and take their first steps into new areas of study.
Among the new courses launching this term are, Introduction to Criminology, a fascinating insight into the criminal justice system and what shapes crime in society, Carers’ First Aid, essential training for those looking after loved ones or working in care roles, Introduction to STEM, an engaging starting point for anyone curious about science, technology, engineering, and maths, Introduction to Graphic Design, teaching the basics of digital creativity and visual communication, Introduction to Hair Styling and so much more.
Alongside these new opportunities, Petroc is also bringing back a selection of much-loved favourites that have proven popular in recent years. Returning courses include, Plastering, Construction Multi-Skills, Introduction to Dental Nursing, Level 2 Psychology, Intro to British Sign Language and much more.
