Petroc T Level Students Help Restore North Devon’s Wetlands

Our first-year T Level students have been making a real impact on the local environment!

In partnership with the North Devon National Trust, they recently took part in a hands-on conservation project focused on protecting and restoring our native wetlands.

Under the expert guidance of the National Trust team, students rolled up their sleeves and planted over 50 wildflower plugs, a vital step in supporting biodiversity and encouraging pollinators to thrive.

This project not only gave our students the chance to contribute to an important local cause, but also helped them develop valuable practical skills and a deeper understanding of sustainable land management.

The day was a fantastic example of how education and community action can come together to protect the natural environment for future generations.
