Robyn La Tragna
Staff Governor
Biography
I have been part of the Petroc community since 2008, starting as a volunteer after completing work experience during my Psychology degree  and I never left. Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of roles, from Learning Support Assistant to Lecturer, which has given me a deep appreciation of the college’s inclusive ethos and the learner journey from every angle.
I hold a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Education, and my professional interests lie in SEND, inclusion, and supporting young people who face barriers to learning. I have also run the Prince’s Trust programme and worked within quality and teacher training, helping colleagues to reflect on and improve their practice.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors with my children, spending time at the beach, and reading. I am passionate about lifelong learning and proud to represent my colleagues and our students as an Academic Staff Governor.
