Petroc is one of the leading education providers in the South West, delivering a wide-ranging further and higher education curriculum throughout Devon and beyond.

We are one of the largest employers in the area, with approximately 800 members of staff supporting an annual cohort of over 16,000 learners, ranging in age from 14 to 80+ years! This figure includes apprentices and A Level, vocational and degree students studying both on site and in the workplace, and also the learners benefitting from our distance learning programmes. OUTREACH OFFICER, South West National Collaborative Outreach Programme (SWNCOP)

Salary: £21,220 - £23,879

Full Time, 37 hours per week

Fixed term (24 months)

Location: North Devon Campus, Barnstaple

A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join the South West National Collaborative Outreach Programme (SWNCOP).

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the delivery of outreach activities to secondary school students through a collaborative project of key stakeholders, comprising universities and FE/HE colleges in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. This programme is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to encourage awareness of, and access to, Higher Education for identified individuals from target groups in schools where progression to HE is low.

The role holder will liaise with colleagues across the SWNCOP and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This post is based at Petroc's North Devon Campus, and will have strategic guidance and reporting requirements form the central SWNCOP team based at Plymouth University.

The post is fixed–term in the first instance until December 2018.

We are looking to recruit a number of Professional Tutors, to work across a range of programmes, both A level and Vocational. Professional Tutors work with students at the point of recruitment and for the duration of their time at college. The role will be to develop learners to achieve their maximum potential whilst working very closely with the teaching teams.

PTHP Recreational Lecturer in Construction

Based at both Barnstaple and Tiverton Campuses
