How has your Petroc experience been?
I started at Petroc doing 3 A Levels but as I studied, I really struggled with the exam side of things and had a hard time studying due to my mental health and ASD diagnosis. I worked with the safeguarding and support and guidance teams at college who recommended a BTEC course and after joining the Public Services course, I felt like I really shined at Petroc, I felt so much more confident in myself.
What do you plan to do next?
I’m coming back to do Level 2 vehicle maintenance while I wait for my army application to go through and hope to take both qualifications with me when i join.
