What made you pick this particular course/Petroc?
I was interested in electrical components and systems.

What did/do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
It is a more mature environment with friendly staff! I have found it to be a positive experience to gain assistance with any academic issues you may have.

Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
In year 10 I did a week of work experience with Grills, with an electrician. I have now been employed with them for 8 months now and they have helped me learn more about the trades and other skills when it comes to working.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I would like to progress onto full time employment or an apprenticeship within the field, hopefully working with big companies like Western Power.

Any advice for someone picking the same course?
Make time to study for exams and use practice papers. They are great practice.
