Business Expo

We are delighted with the success of last night’s Business Expo, held in the South West Institute of Technology and the COTIE innovation launchpad, at our North Devon campus. During talks, workshops and networking, 78 employers, project partners and Petroc staff were able to safely share, discuss and grow.

Toni Batty and Samantha Paine from Torrington Dental Practice, said: “I like the fact Sheena talked about things that we had already implemented at work that we could relate to, but also gave us new ideas to take away. The Talks were also useful to find out what is happening in the wider community.”

Wayne Dymond and Klark Smith from Turnstyle said: “It was really interesting to hear about what the college can offer. We both have children of college age, so it was valuable to hear the talks from both a parent and a business perspective. We previously didn’t know how Petroc could help our business and now we are much more informed. We also liked that fact that Petroc made it clear that to get a successful career you don’t necessarily have to go to university”.

Thank you to everyone that attended, we look forward to our next event in 2022!
