Many Petroc students go on to compete in national skill competitions and have become regional finalists in bricklaying as well as successes in furniture making, including the Medal of Excellence from City and Guilds. Decorative occupations have also been recognised at a national level including Trade Painters of the Year.
The Level 3 course in Architecture, Surveying and the Built Environment is an introduction to the professions within the construction industry. Covering everything from Quantity Surveying through to Site Management and Architecture, the programme provides an understanding of how all of the construction professions interlink to enable the successful design and construction of projects. By exploring the potential routes and professions available, we will support you in identifying your career aspirations and long-term study plans. Highly skilled and dedicated staff will support you through your creative and design processes and enable the application of these skills into the technical performance of materials and structure.
