What you can find at our Open Events
During the Open Events you will have the opportunity to attend talks on A-level and Vocational Studies, as well as speak to lecturers about:
- A-level and Vocational courses
- Higher Education provisions
- Access to Higher Education
- Adults and Community Learning
- English and Maths for Adults
- Accredited part-time courses
You will also be able to explore Petroc's facilities, find out about extra curricular activities such as Petroc Academies, and get information and support from our Student Support Services and Advice & Guidance Centre.

Anyone who wants to find out more about studying at Petroc – it doesn’t matter if you’re leaving school, are looking to retrain, want to learn about studying a degree, are interested in apprenticeships or want to check out our range of recreational courses. We are here to help!
You will be able to find out about all our areas of study, including A-levels, vocational qualifications, degree-level courses, apprenticeships, recreational courses and certificated courses. Our Advice & Guidance team will also be able to provide information about funding, transport, childcare, careers and any other support you may need during your time at Petroc. You can also have a look around the campus and get a feel for college life.

Lecturers from each area will be available to tell you more about the course you’re interested in studying. We also have a team of student ambassadors who can provide real-life information about what it’s like to be a Petroc student.
We have ample parking on all of our campuses, and there will be signage and attendants to help you find a space. Parking is FREE for all our open events.
We have a Costa coffee shop on our campuses, selling a range of hot drinks and refreshments.
It’s not necessary to pre-register before the event, but it will speed up the registration process at the event if you do. If you want to pre-register, click on the day of the event above and follow the instructions.
Our campuses are accessible for wheelchair users, with lifts and ramps to help you get around. If you require any extra assistance, please let us know before the event and we will be happy to accommodate you.
