What made you pick this particular course?
I wanted to become a nurse and I discovered this course on the Petroc website. Through discussing this course with one of the lecturers at an open event, I decided to take this course due to the work placement.
What did/do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I have loved my placement at North Devon District Hospital as I have been able to experience many different clinical settings.
Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
As I mentioned before, I did my placement at NDDH. I have loved my experience as it had lots of variety which allowed me to decide my next steps.
What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I have an offer to do Adult Nursing at the University of Chichester and I hope to be a tissue viability nurse in the future.
Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
Do it! You are guaranteed to have work experience which will help you decide your next steps and help your future applications.
