Why did you choose to come to Petroc?
I chose Petroc as it was close to home, produced good results and had great lecturers.

What made you pick this particular course?
I changed my mind various times, but after doing my GCSEs I realised I loved the humanities subjects, especially Literature and History.

What were the highlights?
My highlight has been the learning! I loved the course and the conversations I had throughout it.

What did you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I most enjoyed the independence of college.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I plan to go to university – I have already received many offers! After a degree, I want to specialise even further into History by doing a masters!

What’s the long-term plan?
The long term plan is to become a professor or a researcher.

Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
Just do what you love. Throw yourself into it and you’ll get something great out of it.
