What made you pick this particular course/Petroc?
I chose Petroc as it has the course I wanted to do, and is the closest and easiest college for travel. I would also like to work with people in my future career, and my course enables that.

What have been the highlights so far?
My highlight has been learning about aspects of health and social care, alongside the practical elements of the course, such as taking blood pressures, pluses and temperatures.

What do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I really enjoy being able to learn all about health and social care whilst also having fun.

Have you got involved in any Enrichment?
I did the Film club, which I started but it wasn’t for me, so I joined the Just Dance Club, which I am really enjoying.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I plan to go to university or the open university to continue my studies in Health and Social Care.

What’s the long-term plan?
I plan to become a Social Worker or a Paramedic.

Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
My advice is if you are unsure about what you would like to do, go for this course as it gives you a broad range of options for a future career. Alos, if you are passionate about working with people in the future then I would say this is the perfect course for you.
