What made you pick this particular course?
I’ve always wanted to do something to do with health throughout my whole life and have grown to aspire to be a paramedic.

What did/do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I enjoy my placements the most at the hospital, as you get to see the real life healthcare given to real patients. You also get to explore mostly all departments in the hospital, it’s an amazing experience.

Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
We took part in placement at North Devon District Hospital where we explored different parts of the hospital to expand our knowledge.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I am taking a gap year next year however I do want to become a paramedic.

Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
Do it. It’s worth the hard work and the experience is one in a lifetime.
