What made you pick Petroc?
I chose Petroc as it has flexible course options, is a calm environment, and easy to get to. I was also really interested in Children’s Nursing and wanted to expand my knowledge.

What have been the highlights?
My highlight has been the coursework we have completed.

What do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I have enjoyed how peaceful Petroc is. They have comfy chairs, great personnel, a free gym, and it’s close to town. I have also found that every teacher really cares about you.

Have you got involved in any enrichment?
I have taken part in table tennis and gaming enrichment at Petroc. I also plan to complete the sign language and first aid courses.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
When I leave Petroc, I plan to study Children’s nursing at Manchester University.

What’s the long-term plan?
I plan to go to university to become a registered nurse, and then become a senior nurse or a travel nurse.

Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
My advice is to volunteer as much as possible and spend lots of time in hospitals. I also suggest doing extra research, whether its reading, on the TV or extra courses.
