Why did you choose to come to Petroc?
After the taster day I knew that I wanted to come to Petroc, the staff were all very accommodating and made me feel very welcome.

What made you pick this particular course?
The fact that we got to do lots of practical work placement as well as the theory side of the course.

Which elements of your course do you particularly enjoy?
I really enjoy learning about theories because you can then go on and apply that in your placement. I also enjoyed working on child development.

What have been the highlights so far?
Becoming part of the team at my nursery has been the highlight of my year and applying my knowledge into practice.

What do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I most enjoy the opportunities that we get such as training rooms, trips, work experience and meeting new people.

What do you plan to do when you leave college?
I plan to do a further year at college to do the Level 3 assisting teaching course then go into full time employment.

What’s the long-term plan?
I was considering going to university but after college I am going into full time employment.
