Why did you choose to come to Petroc?
I chose Petroc as it was closest to home, and my older sister came here before me.

What made you pick this particular course?
I chose these courses as I really enjoy maths and was very interested in psychology and it wasn’t an option at GCSE. I also chose computer science as I was interested in becoming a computer scientist.

What were the highlights?
My highlight was being part of the volleyball team.

What did you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I like my psychology teachers and enjoy the freedom I have, for example how I can go home in my breaks.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I plan to defer for a year and go to university to do a psychology degree.

What’s the long-term plan?
I plan to gain a career in psychology, such as a behavioural psychologist.

Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
My advice would be to organise your revision early and complete a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) because it shows how you are engaged with psychology outside of the curriculum.
