What made you pick this particular course?
I chose this course because I want to be a teacher/ work with children and this course will lead me to that.

What do you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I really enjoyed our placements at primary schools. As well as this I really enjoyed the type of work and how it was taught.

Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
I did my work placement at Kingsacre Primary School which I really enjoyed. I went to this school myself! It gave me the understanding of what was involved in that career path.

What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc?
I am planning on going to university and training to become a teacher before hopefully getting a job as a primary school teacher.

Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
I would advise them that the course is very full on with placement and college. It’s a very fun course where you will learn a lot of the skills that you need to become a teacher. You get a lot of support and guidance from your lecturers.
