AAT Certificate in Accounting - Level 2 - Part-time (Mid Devon)

An excellent qualification for anyone wishing to pursue a career in book keeping or accountancy. This qualification is suitable for those who are wanting to become members of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
This qualification is suitable for those considering a career in finance or accounting.
This programme covers a range of subjects including:
- Computerised accounting
- Working effectively within accounting and finance
- Processing bookkeeping transactions and control accounts
- Journals and banking system
- Principles of double-entry book-keeping
The course is assessed by means of a combination of computer-based exams and projects.
There are no formal qualification requirements to do the Certificate in Accounting qualification. However, you will need to have a reasonable level of numeracy and be able to complete assessments in English.
On successful completion of the AAT Certificate in Accounting at Level 2, you may wish to progress on to the Diploma in Accounting at Level 3, offered here at Petroc.

Q: What qualifications will I aim for?
A: You will work towards the Certificate in Accounting Level 2, progressing through to the Diploma in Accounting Level 4 if appropriate.
