If you plan to travel to campus by car, we can provide information about parking and permits to help with your journey.
Travelling by car
If you wish to park at one of our campuses (North Devon, Brannams or Mid Devon), you must display either a valid permit, a pay and display ticket, or have a valid payment made by phone. You can pay for parking using your mobile device; just download the RingGo app or visit www.RingGo.co.uk. The location code for all Petroc parking sites is 24746. If you have no internet connection, please call 020 3046 0010.
If you are travelling to any of our campuses for an appointment, please check with the person you are meeting to make sure a parking space has been reserved for you. You will then need to report to reception on arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee parking on site for anyone who has not had a space reserved.
Customers of the Taw Restaurant, Hair Salon or Beauty Salon at North Devon campus have a dedicated parking area. You will need to purchase a ticket from the Pay & Display machine (£1.20) and register your car details at Reception in the Lifestyle Building.
Customers of the Exe Restaurant at Mid Devon Campus can purchase a single-use permit to park (£1.20) directly from the Restaurant.
Total Parking Solutions patrol car parks to ensure legitimate vehicles are parked on site. Vehicles that are not authorised to park in college spaces are at risk of receiving a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). A PCN is set at £60 and this is reduced to £30 if paid within 14 days of receipt of the PCN. A PCN is issued for breach of parking conditions, which include:
- Non-display of a valid permit or ticket
- Parking outside of marked bays
- Parking in any reserved or blue badge spaces
If you are a student or member of staff and would like to buy an annual parking permit, you can do so by logging into your myPetroc account. Please note that having a parking permit does not guarantee you a parking space at any of our campuses.
