Why did you choose to come to UCND?
I chose to study here because it was local and there was a job opportunity nearby.
What made you pick this particular course?
At the time, I wanted to become a teacher but that changed during the course! I really enjoyed writing my dissertation, especially at Exmoor Zoo as this opened my eyes to more career opportunities. The long-term plan now is to work in a zoo either in education or as a dedicated keeper.
Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
Yes, I worked as a SEN teaching assistant at a local primary school, this really helped me build on my knowledge.
Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
Start your dissertation research sooner rather than later!
