What made you pick this particular course?
I chose this course because I’m interested in becoming a teacher.
What did you most enjoy about studying at Petroc?
I really enjoyed the trip to Sweden, to learn about the Swedish education system.
Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
I undertook a placement two days a week at Ashleigh C of E Primary School. I really enjoyed working with the children and having a hands-on experience, this experience has definitely helped me decide my next steps.
What do you plan to do when you leave Petroc (further study, career etc.)?
I plan to go to university to study Primary Education with QTs.
Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
My advice would be choose this course if you want hands-on experience working alongside other professionals and with children. This course is also very busy with lots of learning.
