Assessments

Internal Assessment: Tutor assessment of your portfolio evidencing the minimum assessment requirements and verified by the award body (CPCAB).

External Assessment: Externally assessed written paper after watching a CPCAB DVD under exam conditions and assessed by the awarding body.

You must pass both the internal and external assessments to achieve the qualification.

Entry Requirements

You must have achieved the CPCAB Award – Introduction to Counselling Skills. You must also be able to use Word, Email and have access to a printer.

Progression

Once you have completed this course you can progress on to a Certificate in Counselling Studies Level 3.

Q: Is there any funding available to help pay for my course?

A: Many of our courses are free to attend (subject to eligibility). We will carry out a fee assessment when you enrolment to establish if you meet this criteria.
