You will need a grade 3/D at GCSE Maths, or evidence of working at this level. If you have not achieved this qualification, you can sit an initial assessment to check if this is the right course for you or if our progression course would be more suitable.

Gaining a Grade 4 or above at GCSE Maths can open up a wide range of courses including Access to Higher Education Diplomas and Level 3 qualifications, as well as enabling progression within the workplace.

You will also need a scientific calculator and a geometry set. The lecturer will advise on the best calculator to buy.

A: Many adults find that things they found baffling at school are now surprisingly easy!

Q: What can I do if I don’t feel able to complete the GCSE in one year?

A: We will be able to support you on a pathway to achieving the GCSE qualification through our progression routes including functional skills qualifications. You will complete an initial assessment and we will discuss the right pathway for you.
