Course details
Assessments
Throughout the qualification, a range of theory and practical assessments will support your learning and test your knowledge and skills development. You will be taught by industry professional staff within our new modern commercial salons.
Ongoing assessment is by multiple-choice question tests that you complete online, as well as working on clients to gain competency and confidence within this speciality field.
Throughout the qualification, we will also be working on the development of your Employability Skills as well as your Maths and English.
Progression
Following successful completion of the course, you will be invited to continue your studies with us. For a career within the industry, you should progress on to Level 3 Hairdressing; however, should you wish to take an alternative route, you can study further and specialise in Barbering.

FAQs
Q: Will I have to wear a uniform?
A: On your first day, you will come in your own clothes, you will then be expected to wear all black until your uniform arrives. Once you have your uniform, you will be expected to wear this at all times except in GCSE or Functional Skills.
