Management & Administration (Business Support) T Level
T Levels combine classroom theory, practical learning and a minimum 45-day industry placement with an employer to make sure you have real experience of the workplace. The Technical Qualification is the main classroom-based element of the T Level and will see you learn from a curriculum that has been shaped by industry experts. T Level courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content will meet the needs of industry and prepare you for work. They provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door to highly skilled employment, an apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university.
During the two-year programme, you will learn the core knowledge that underpins each industry and you will also develop occupationally-specific skills that will allow you to enter skilled employment within a specific occupation.
This qualification has been designed to deliver the skills required to enter the Management and Administration industry.
Units you will study include:
– Business context
– People
– Quality and compliance
– Finance
– Policies and procedures
– Project management
– Business behaviours
You will study the occupational specialism in Business Support in your second year.
You will be required to undertake a 315-hour (minimum) industry placement. We can support you with your placement or you can source your own.

Assessments
The final grades are assessed via examination as well as written assessments.
Entry Requirements
To be accepted onto this Level 3 programme, you must hold at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including GCSE Maths and English Language.
Progression
Successful completion of this qualification will prepare you to enter the sector through employment or as an apprentice. Alternatively, you may wish to progress onto a Foundation Degree in Business at the University Centre for Northern Devon, or elsewhere.
